7 West 54th Street, commonly known as the Philip Lehman Mansion, is an architectural gem situated in Midtown Manhattan. Originally crafted in the French Beaux-Arts style by John H. Duncan, this landmark property stands as a testament to New York City's historical grandeur. The mansion was designated a landmark by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1989 and once housed an illustrious art collection later bequeathed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

We Vest took on the responsibility of acquiring, financing, leasing, and restoring this iconic structure. Our restoration efforts were catalyzed by a sprinkler pipe burst, and under our stewardship, the mansion has undergone a comprehensive revitalization. We've meticulously restored its façade and historic interiors, installed a modern glass penthouse addition, and implemented high-tech building systems. The project also included reclaiming numerous architectural artifacts from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to ensure the mansion's unique character and historical integrity were impeccably maintained.
